UPDATE - I USE WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM!! I was on the internet the other day with my HP G61 Notebook PC - and it crashed on me. I had multiple programs running like;
My laptop has 3.2 GB of RAM, and then before my computer shut down on me, I checked the performance tab in the task manager and it said it was using 2.9 GB or RAM. Is there any way to virtually extend the RAM so I don't have to buy more RAM or nothing like that. Thanks!! |

Easy, just press start, type "advanced system settings" (without quotations). After that go to settings under performance Performance > then go to advanced > Click Change. If it's set to "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" uptick it to change the virtual page file size. Remember, the bigger the file, the more space it takes up on your computer. What the file does is essentially used as a cache location for ram. |

Go to start and right click on computer. Then click properties->Advanced System Settings->Settings(Under Performance)->Advanced tab->Change(Under virtual memory.) |
