I'm mainly a Windows user on my Mac because of one thing: Microsoft Office. I have iWork on Mac but it isn't near as good as Office 2010 on Windows. |
|
No, I'm excited about iWork 11, because it's cheaper and (in my mind) is more visually appealing (mainly keynote). I've always liked Keynote and Numbers better but I like the word processor that office has I also like Word, but I mainly use Keynote instead of powerpoint (for obvious reasons). For all of the text editing that I'd need, I use Open Office. Yeah I like Keynote because of the fact that it's a better presentation tool |

Yeah I've been using a beta my friend gave me and it's pretty nice (except I wish I knew how to get rid of the spacing between paragraphs by default) |

Not really. I got WIndows Office for Mac 2008 (Or is it 2007? I can't remember :P) for free when I bought my iMac at Future Shop. They had some kind of thing happening the week I bought my iMac where students got it for free. So I probably wont pay for '11 when '08 works just fine, and it was free. I will have a hard time NOT buying iWork '11, if they release that though... |

I have the full version =) (50 character limit) |
|
Not really because I use OpenOffice and/or Google Docs. I like Microsoft Office software but I like the free alternatives better. |
|
Yes for the reason that Office for Mac 2008 was terrible. I feel cheated out of my money. There is free software better. But iWork 11 is where its at. |

iwork 11 will be game changer. anyone who liked office 2008 must be stupid. It's terrible and useless. I intend on watching Office 11 closely but iwork will most likely kick it's ass |
