Like for downloading a-capella vocal tracks and then do polka and metal ver. of the song :P or also a way I can edit track I create using my guitar? FL Studio? Audacity? other? |

Audacity, because it's free. I can't afford many things that aren't open-source. Plus Audacity is cross-platform, which is a great help to me. |

I use open-source/freeware software since that is all I can afford, and Audacity is my program of choice, but I use two others and they are listed in my order of choice. All three have served my needs and treated me well. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ http://www.filehippo.com/download_audacity/ Free Audio Editor 2011 http://www.free-audio-editor.com/ Wave Editor 3.1.0.0 http://www.wave-editor.com/ |

I like to use Aviary's Audio editor to make music :) http://www.aviary.com/flash/aviary/index.aspx?tid=6&Myna |

I use Adobe Audition. I prefer it over Pro Tools as though PT has a lot under the hood, I find for my tastes the UI is a bit too garbly for me. This question also depends on what "type" of editing you want to do. Audacity is good, for just bare-bones "basic" editing functionality, but it's free, and you get what you pay for. Having said that, for "free", it is a very nice app. if you can't afford apps such as Pro Tools or Audition, etc. |
