I am about to move to a very "special" location GoogleMaps
and by special i mean that the internet connection is at 2Mbps↓256Kbps↑
and you never get over 1.5Bbps↓200Kbps↑.
Now to the question, i remember reading about links at the 5,4Ghz radio band (like WiFi) i know it required satellite-like dish antenas and they could communicate at 54Mbps at even 5Kilometers away as long as there is line of sight.
The reason i say this is because at the next small town they offer 24Mbps at a great price AND i have a friend right next of the DSLAM meaning i can get very close to the full speed since the loss of signal is unoticeable, so do you know any place i could get the gear from? keep in mind that ordering from the USA or CANADA would be expensive for me due to P&S. or do you have any better ideas? waiting in not an option...
