You can't port an OS to another OS.

Perhaps you mean run iOS on non-iPhones? I'm not aware of any project that aims to do this. However, I do know that efforts are underway to port Android to run on the iPhone.

sorry i meant devices that run windows mobile or android... and android is easily ported to other devices.. for example im currently running eclair on my htc touch pro...

Yes, I'm aware of how easily Android can be ported. And like I said, I know of no project that sets out to port iOS to other devices (I'm not sure why anyone would want to do that, to be honest).

Currently their are no plans to port iOS to other devices but their have been efforts to port Android to the iPhone
