When will the next iPhone come out?

I have an iPhone 3G (Yes, there are those of us still using the 3G). About two weeks after I bought the 3G, Apple announced the 3GS. I was not happy. So I waited for the iPhone 4. However all I have heard is how bad the calls are dropped. So I figure, why not just wait for the next one (iPhone 4GS or iPhone 5 or whatever they call it). MY question is, do you think Apple will hurry up and release another phone like they did with the 3GS or will they wait a while before announcing a new phone. Either way, I can wait.

judging by Apple's release cycle it will be sometime around July.

July isn't too bad. I can def. wait til then. I was hoping maybe one around the holiday season but it's probably too late for that at this point in time. They would have announced it back when they announced the new Mac Book Pro.

Good to know there is at least one more 3G user lol. We stay hidden due to the lack of multitasking ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't it always been one year windows between versions? Wasn't the 3GS released a year after the 3G and a year before the 4th? If so, then next July.

Yeah, it's usually around that June, July, August time. But if Apple was going to wait until 2012 before releasing the next one, I'd go ahead and get the iPhone 4.

Their has been some debate about the release of the next iPhone because of ever increasing Verizon iPhone rumors. Some people say that the Verizon iPhone will be released in January during CES and some people say that the Verizon iPhone won't come til at least Q2 of 2011. But if the Verizon iPhone isn't released this year the iPhone will continue it's regular product release cycle in July.

I have heard Jan 2011 for Verizon (probably from this site lol) but I wonder if that will have an impact on AT&T's release of new phones from there on out, if (and a big IF), the iPhone does go to Verizon.
