Ideas for a good monitor?

Okay guys I want a nice, kinda cheap monitor(in the 100$ or 200$) for the gaming desktop I am doing, care to tell me some brands or links to monitors? In Officemax I saw one Acer in like $85 and an HP in $120, I don't remember the sizes but they where kinda big and they had speakers and the cables included :) Lenovo seems nice but expensive :/

Yep, I'd say Robert is right. That's not bad for $121. But LG also had a refurb 23" for $160 today on Overstock.

Well i wouldn't cheap out on the monitor especially if it is ment for gaming!
You will spend a few good hours looking at it and i think that your eyes worth a few thousant $ so it would be good to protect them! :) The best monitor/TV i found is this (notice that is boardeless and around 600$)

Don't think that price is a barrier. ie if you pay 150$ on a monitor 22' that is crappy you will keep it 1-2 years and then you will sell it or throw it away or simply don't use it. invest in a good monitor (like the above) and i am sure you will be using it untill 2017 at leat!
Also with monitor like the above and a 6ooo series AMD grafics card(around200$) 3D will be amazing (and cheap!!)

yeah it is, so you can be a bit away from it. i have 2 of these at 4 feet away (1.5 meters), it is a bit neck painfull at start but when you get comfortable and het a bit used to it's GREAT. all i will say is: Xbox wireless controler and Final fantasy! i will not mention RTS games with 3840*1080

but its too big for the resolution. you want a smaller screen to run 1080p or it won't look as good

i am a fun of big TVs but i see your point, problem is i don,t sit too close το the TVs so the i don't see any pixels or distortion. the further away i sit the smaler they get! know what i mean?
