Has anyone had this issue before? First time to date for me, after trying every possible method to get it to connect to the desktop I am at a loss, at first it would just not restore on the desktop yet would on the netbook. Edit - Even the Mac iPhone forums or the site itself has nothing useful that works, or just people looking to find out what is going on and no answers. Edit- I had to uninstall much more then iTunes, just to start fresh I removed anything to do with apple and cleared the appdata and the main files and reinstalled iTunes and everything appears to be in order. |

The driver might not be installed properly. What OS are you using? |

Normally I can fix problems on my own or research them out, this one is being very troublesome, it was running fine the other day, running Windows 7, done everything to the phone, restarted the computer a few times, re-installed iTunes etc... it connects to me netbook just fine using the came cables. |

try going into the device manager, and deleting all instances of mobile device, plug an play storage, revomable deivce, then uninstall iTunes and reinstall it, then plug the iPhone back it? this may work, let me know, I had the same issue with a keyboard not working once 1
Still nothing, wow, this is insane, at a complete loss. It shows up in My Computer just fine, the iPod shuffle and Mini (got it out to check) work fine. That was the biggest pain I have had in years, removing itunes was not enough, I had to remove everything in great detail and reinstall and that finally worked. hmm, maybe use the other computer to recover the iPhone? That is what I had to do a few weeks ago, the iPhone would not restore on my desktop so I had to use my netbook, this time my desktop would not work nor would my netbook so I used my tablet to reboot it and then I figured out how to get it connected back to iTunes. Seems to be working now after jumping many hoops. have you solved it? 1
Yes, then a couple apps starting acting up and had to download them again, everything seems to be falling into place.
