What is the most you would pay for internet access on a 3hr or less flight? $5, $10, $20?

I think anywhere from $2-$10 is a fair price. I don't need broadband on a flight so as long as it's 500kb up/down it'd be fine for about $5.

i would most likely not bother on any flight less than 5 hours, but If I had too I would probably pay no more than $20

6mb per second or minute I don't remember how it's measure

I would say it would have to depend on the speed of the Internet connection. If it were a reasonable speed say 500 to 750 KBPS up/down then I would pay $5 to $10 higher I would pay $15 to $20 for a 3hr flight.

Google gifts free in-flight Wi-Fi | Google has teamed up with several airlines to provide free in-flight Wi-Fi. The free service will go on through the holidays. Airlines that will support the promotion include Virgin America, AirTran Airways and Delta ... more

The holidays are about family and friends getting together and celebrating. Of course, this usually requires considerable amounts of air travel.

Being 30,000 feet in the air used to be a barrier for data connections. But more and more, Wi-Fi is becoming available in the skies. Usually this comes with a pretty hefty price tag, though.

But this holiday season Google and a few airlines are giving you an awesome gift: free in-flight Wi-Fi.

*Freeholidaywifi.com gives you all the details you need to know. Find out which airlines are supporting the promotion. And learn how long the free service will last.*
