My dear Mother & God. Both are my idols. I'm 31 but I have duchenne muscular dystrophy & after having a seizure a few years ago, I've become bed ridden. Before & now after the seizure, She works her rump off to ensure that I'm kept clean & as healthy as possible. She ensures that my Doctors & other associated health professionals do their jobs properly. But, She does it in a reasonable manner & with a reasonably open mind to suggestions. |

My idol is myself, but not my actual self. The me in my mind is cool, I wanna be more like him, and I guess the me in my mind is made up of all my idols together. |

My idol is my big brother Jimmy. He died ten years ago after battling cancer for five years. During his fight, he taught me how to open up to others more, how to trust in myself more, how to stop caring so much what others thought of me and how to be strong even when all I wanted to do was cry. He taught me to laugh long and loud when faced with adversity and to never run from my fears. He did all of this without even realizing it. He fought his battle with grace and humor. He never gave up and never let the cancer get him down. He loved hard and true. Jimmy had plenty of faults. I have not canonized him since his death. He drove me crazy and teased me as I grew up so badly that I would cry at times. However, he also had my back - always. If a boy didn't treat me right during or after a date, he received an ass-kicking from my brother. The day I threw my abusive ex-husband out of our home, Jimmy was there within an hour to help me change the locks, throw Tony's crap out the door onto the yard (literally) and get an order of protection. I pretend not to know that he also beat the living crap out of him later that night. I have many people I look up to and respect. But James Richard Hughes is - and always will be - my idol. |

I have met him and he was the leader of my party. Although he did not look good in public, professionally he was excellent. fairs :D i was just wondering,as a lot of people seem to hate him
