I am asking a question of the geek community about which device would be recommended for daily use. If you have any personal experience with a device, that would be greatly appreciated. |

I recommend the $10 tablets =0p... I own an iPad, HP Pavilion tx2500z Touchscreen Tablet PC, and am currently saving up for a Modbook Pro. If I were to replace my HP, I'd get the HP Elitebook 2740p. There are many iPad challengers entering the arena, so I recommend we wait for the dust to settle. Competition is good for (us) the comsumer, and prices will fall.
Note: The $35 tablet will be coming from India; may drop to as low as $10

I love the iPad. If you are willing to work within an environment that is stable, and reliable I recommend the iPad. Even though you are limited to what apps that Apple approves on the App Store, I love the experience that I've had. |

I am going have to say iPad. I can't recommend ones I have not used right? I have iPads in every class room at my school. Its a "high-tech" school. No textbooks, only computers, and iPads. iPads are really neat. You should check out apples website for a list of features. |
Right now I would say the iPad, just because it runs an OS optimized for tablets. If you can, wait until next year sometime when the iPad 2G, Blackberry Tablet (Forget what it's called), and an Android tablet running Gingerbread is out, then make your decision. |
If you want a tablet, I'd definitely recommend the iPad. I used to have one, and it was a great device. The only reason I sold it was because I found I needed computing power more along the lines of a dual-core netbook for my daily use. |
At the moment I would say the iPad is the best option. If you don't mind waiting you should say what some other companies come out with and then make your decision. |
At the minute iPad but like everyone is saying next year you will have the choice of quite alot including iPad 2G. I suppose it may also be a factor what computer/phone you currently use as well. I like the look of blackberrys playbook but feel they will suffer through a lack of apps. |
