As a former customer of Go Daddy web hosting, please save yourself! Use HostGator instead.

Too late! He's owned matthewsabia com for quite a while now. Everyone should use BlueHost though.

Yes I have a domain. I got it for free via advertising another website, and after a while I got one for free for one year. I got it so people don't have to type in such a long URL.

You can get domains free like co.cc. There is also .tk, which requires someone to visit your website at least once per month i think.

I own a bunch of domain names, some active and some just protected for future ideas and projects. Most of the active websites are revenue-generating for our small business, though a few are just for fun (personal blogs for me, my husband, and our daughter, for example.)

My oldest/longest held domain name was registered 28-May-97

I don't own my own domain yet, but there are some good sites on the web that have good prices for hosting. I am currently with Webs.com, a terrible service that i will soon leave.

I would go with godaddy.com for the cheapest domains, when you purchase a new hosting plan. they have 24/7 support, and they are very flexible.
