Free online college courses?

Are there any university's that offer free online college courses. I am not looking to get degree or anything..I just want to see what they are like. So... anybody know of some universitys that have FREE online courses?

Using an online course as your reference to what a college level class is like isn't going to give you the right answer.

If you really want to see what college level CLASSES are like, attend a lecture at a local college.

thank you for your advice...i will take it into consideration..but i still want to see what online classes are like

Online classes are just information given to you in a blob of text and some outside links, you may also need to get a book for it. Then you would have exams online, mostly multiple choice and short essays, there's also a dropbox for larger files. There's also discussion boards for the entirety of the students enrolled.
