(I had a question posted already but couldn't edit, and I wanted to add more details and pics)

So, I was in an intersection and i'm 95% sure that I left in a green light, but a camera that's attatched to the street light ( I THINK) took a pic of me! (I'm not sure if it was glare or not though, hopefully it is).

But If it was a flash...

(PICS ARE LOCATED ON THE BOTTOM) The camera that took a pic of me is the one circled in Yellow, I'm pretty sure. If not, Red. (I left around where the red camera is at, the light was green im 95% sure again, and then when I approached the camera that's circled yellow, I saw a flash or bright light).

Am I going to get a ticket? I would have stopped if I even noticed there was a red light, but the thing is, it's a shared lane so I can't possibly stop...

Help? (The flash originated from the camera itself not a seperate unit, and it took a pic front of me, not behind me I think. I only say that because there aren't any cameras that are angled behind me at the spot I was taken at)

PICS*:

Close up of the cameras (IDK IF it's just me, but it doesn't look like it's directly pointing down) http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/1539/camn.png alt text

Here's the overview of the street/intersection overview

(The arrows correspond to the angle that the cameras are on)

Camera 1: camera 1 (Red in overview)

Camera 2 (Green in Overview): camera 2

Camera 3 (no camera actually [Blue in Overview]): camera 3

Camera 4 (Yellow in Overview) camera 4

Camera 5 (Purple in Overview) camera 5

I don't notice any other cameras (no rear cameras or other angles supporting one spot, there is a camera looking at each lane at only front side)...

Please help!

How would you consider me making the pictures visible on lockergnome.net?

Have you gone through this intersection before? Are there any signs that say "Red Light Cameras Enforced," or something of that nature?

Yes, I go here every 3 days a week and there is no photo enforced sign at all. I will look more carefully today when I'm going home and I'll reply back again.

i dont think those type of camera's have a flash to produce a flash, they dont need to flash as the streets are bright enough to see even at night.

they are usually there for trafic monitoring rather then enforcing laws on people who go through red lights.

Camera lights often flash every so many minutes so that when someone runs a red light it would flash at a faster rate. I guess it keeps them warm? I know this is an old post but I thought I would answer it anyway :p

My guess is it's possible that the camera might just be there to monitor the traffic. We have cameras like that here in jersey. I had a similar experience last week. Haven't seen a ticket in the mail yet. In my research I discovered that a lot of areas set cameras up just to see when someone is waiting for the light to change so they don't have to wait longer than need. Not entirely sure about your area. Hope this helps a little bit.
