[uk] best mobile network for android phone?

I got a LG Optimus GT540 yesterday, i got it on a diffent network (orange) to the one i been with for 3 years (o2). I am now looking for a mobile network which will not charge me an arm and a leg for light data useage. I dont know how much data I will use in 28 days (i base bills off 28 days since i get payed 4 weekly).

Any one know how much data i might use in 28 days? (i have no idear)

T-Mobile and Orange have now merged so you get double the chance of a good signal, and more chance of getting 3G coverage. Either one of the networks will give you access to both of the networks.

Sofar, when ever i look i got 2G :(

But then again, Orange did sell the phone cheaper, even if there call center still not giving me my number on my new phone :/
