Was the .45 Caliber really developed to defeat warriors of the Philippines? Were the Philippine warriors super human? I was thinking that guns & bullets vs spears & swords would be an unfair fight?!?

Maybe it was developed for that, but what fight in history has ever being fair. Their will have been one team that is better trained or a bigger army, better weapons, more advanced technology or better tactics.

I don't believe any of the superhuman myth, only that some people may be stronger or better trained.

I guess human determination, sheer will, and who wants to win more play a major factor to a given competition.
