Yes, yes you can. Not all of them of course, because backwards compatibility is achieved through software emulation (unlike the Wii, which is hardware emulated, meaning 100% compatible). You just have to have a hard drive and check a compatibility list to see if the game you want to play is supported. I suppose people here who told you it wasn't possible didn't have an original xbox or don't have an xbox 360 at all. People, refrain from answering precise questions that require exact answers if you don't know the answer :P! |

I don't think so. Maybe on old models of the 360 but not the new models. |

You can play XBOX Games on the XBOX 360 only if you have the Pro Xbox (60 gig) and the Elite Xbox (120 gig). The ARCADE and the 20 giger do not have backwards disc capability and will not ever. You have to buy the 60 or 120 gigabyte Xbox 360's. There is also a list of supported games, see list at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_games_compatible_with_Xbox_360 2
Huh? I have the "20 giger" and I can still play my precious copy of Guilty Gear X2 #Reload. Where did you get that false info? There's no difference between xbox 360 versions and backwards compatibility, except that you need a hard drive (which leaves the Arcade version out, unless you buy a hard drive, but the console itself is not different). wiki answers. I don't have a xbox and this is what I scrounged up Fixed that 1
Well, I thought I would be technical and add in that there is a difference. The Xbox 360 Arcade has some tiny internal storage. None of the others do. This is of course talking about the first generation 360's, not the new ones. ;) |

Only the top selling 50 Xbox games are backwards compatible. |
