Skype is great and Facetime is great. They both have ups and downs. personally i like skype but it has its weak points. What do you think is better? What do you think will "kill" Skype or Facetime? I think Skype has and probably will continue to kill facetime. That is just my opinion!! |

I like FaceTime for it's integration into OS X - I like how you don't require the app open to receive a FaceTime call. Plus I can use it with our iPhones etc - it's stopped us yelling between rooms in the house, even if one is not sitting at a computer. |

well since there both on wifi only, i would have to go with skype, mostly because its more open to the community as everyone can use it, wherelse the facetime app is well, just for the iphone4 and ipod4 and macs |

well as i don't have an iPhone 4, i would have to use Skype, which is fine for me as i would probaby not facetime on my phone and i use Skype alot anyway. |

I use both. I don't have a preference. Some people I know don't use iPhones or iMacs, so I Skype them, the mac users either Skype or FaceTime, or even Yahoo messenger for that matter. Yahoo and MSN were doing video calls 10 years ago. I don't know why its being trumped as a big deal now. |
