Everyone here uses their computers quite frequently - right?? So I just wanted to know on what you do on your computer all day. Here is a simple answer for me.

I sit at the computer all day and I do the following things. Watch some YouTube videos, do a bit of graphic designing with Photoshop, go onto lockergnome.net and twitter quite allot.

I am currently also building my own computer and use tutorials from the internet and do some of it myself. As well as all that, I teach my brother and grandma how to use a computer. My grandma has no understanding of computers. And my brother always needs help from me (which is quite frustrating.)

I also make YouTube videos as well so I do that and I edit my YouTube videos with After Effects, Sony Vegas Pro 10.0, Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 and Camtasia Studio to some of my screen casts. I make videos about tech on YouTube so there is quite allot of screen casts.

So that is just an answer that you can simply type in and post to the rest of the community.

Any websites or anything you could recommend to a fellow computing technician learner?

Just a couple here. Google and you will find. Look for ones that you feel comfortable with and read up on their forums. Try not to start off too technical, otherwise you will just get confused. It all takes time.

I usually check & respond to emails before I do anything else. Then, I make sure my anti virus is updated. I don’t enable auto updating for the anti virus because in my experience at least, Even when I set a specific time, It always auto updates when I’m in the middle of something.

Then, I work on an article draft for the gaming disability site Able Gamers.

After those tasks, I’ll fiddle around at YouTube, play some games, mostly World of Warcraft & research various topics via Wikipedia in addition to other sources.

Then, I glance over the Lockergnome questions to see what I have the knowledge to answer & then just random web browsing.

I use Pandora a lot as well.

I spend most my time browsing the web reading the latest news on technology and gadgets. I then tweet this news out to the community.

I also spend some time here on Lockergnome.net, helping the community as best I can with their questions.

I often spend a great deal of time programming in VB, taking my Cisco networking examinations and creating relational databases for my assignments.
