Ryan that's an insulting edit you made. Favourite and favorite are both acceptable spellings of the word.

And it is the UK and US way of saying it, favourite is the UK and favorite is the US so...

Smultron for word processing? Seems a bit odd lol.

Microsoft Word 2010 is my favorite word processor.

I prefer Coda over Smultron.

Open Office for the Mac. It's simple, easy, does pretty much everything a basic, good WP should/can do and is compatible with other companies' WP's.

I like a lot of different word processing applications, but each one serves it's own purpose. I use OpenOffice, mainly, because it's compatible with all three major platforms (Windows, OS X, and Linux).

If I'm making a website, I absolutely adore TextWrangler, because it has a bunch of features that are challenging for me to explain. Try it for yourself (if you own a Mac, and find out yourself what I'm trying to explain).

My Favourite word processor has been Microsoft Word ever since I first used it back in 2000. I'm now currently using MS Office 2010 and I think Word is fantastic.

I like to use Microsoft Office, but only when it's given to me. i received 2007 (although i hate it) and i used 2003 Professional volume license (part of the home use program) for years until it stopped activating two years ago. now i use Office 2004 for mac (also given to me) and on most other computers it's either office 2000 (given to my mom from a friend in 2001) or IBM Lotus Symphony/OpenOffice.org because they're free, full featured, and compatible.

OpenOffice and Pages. Any Windows word processor was killed by my evil "computer science" teacher trying to teach me about it. Oh god, the horror. But they're still pretty decent.

I have used Microsoft Office since Office 95 and now I use Office 2010 and have used every version in between. So Microsoft word 2010 takes my vote as the best word processor.
