What do you think ? Would you trust this program ? I am using it for the last few days with no problems other than the lag in the internet connection making the remote desktop unusable at times but overall it is ok.I am concerned a bit about safety because i woke up today and it won't connect to my remote computer but i will have this fixed soon. Do you think it is safe ? |

TeamViewer is a very secure remote desktop application to use. All versions feature completely secure data channels with key exchange and AES (256 Bit) session encoding, the same security standard used by https/SSL. You can lean more on TeamViewer's security on their website here. |

I use teamviewer to help people with their computers all the time. I have never had any problems with it, or security concerns about it. |

Yes TeamViewer is safe, the connection is secure and if you don't like what the person on the other end is doing you can terminate the connection, or when you install the program you can set it up so that you have to approve every action the remote user does. personally i don't use TeamViewer to remotly access computers on my network i use LogMeIn which is also free and is istalled on all the machines on the network and only i have access! yes TeamView is secure but if someone has a TeamViewer ID for one of your machines and you haven't set TeamViewer up to generate a new key at the end of the session, that person could log back into your system at a later data without your knowledge. |

If security is a major concern its best not to go in for something free off the net. Some web collaboration tools like the RHUB devices are quite secure as they're designed to work behind firewalls & outside them. wwww.rhubcom.com |

for all we know the NSA owns TeamViewer and is monitoring our every key stroke. i agree with alex79. |

Yes it is! I ♥ it! It's really fast and does the job! Better than logmein. |
