Are there iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch Ethernet Adapters?

I would like to use my iPad instead of buying a Fluke Network Analyzer.

Are there iPad Network Analyzer Apps?

The closet thing I could find was a USB to Ethernet adapter.

| It's sad that Apple pulled all warXing apps?!?

Is there any progress in getting a wired ethernet connection to work with iPad, iPhone, etc?

I ended up buying a small travel router, but I would prefer a wired connection =0p...

I can't find any. The only thing I found was someone talking about using the iPod USB cable and using a RJ-45 to Female USB adapter. But I don't think it would work and no one tried it. I would be interested to see if anyone does find something that works.

that seems like a good idea, but I have to agree with you, I don't think it will work. May be worth a try though

Maybe if someone made a app and then put it in like the Cydia store that connected it but I have no clue how that would work.

Tried it, and it didn't work.

Oh, well. Did you find or write a app for it because without some form of software it was not going to work. Because Apple did not code it into iOS.

unfortunately no there aren't any approved iPad apps that do what you want. As you know analyzing a network is very involved and there are so many different things to look for and for different purposes, ie, hardware problems, software issues, connection issues, IDS or all combined you need different kinds of either hardware or software solutions.

I'm just trying to save money. Those Fluke Network Analyzers are very expensive.

no, at the moment there is no such way to connect an iPad to the internet by way of an Ethernet cable as there isn't an adapter.....yet.
