I have an Iphone 3G and in bed I like to hold it up, but i am laying down so it rotates. Do you think Apple should have the screen rotator lock on the 3G? I certainly thinks so.

my friend owns an iPhone 3G but i've certainly not come across any way to lock the screen orientation. i own an iPhone 3GS and that does have a button that allows me to lock the screen orientation. but i'm running iOS 4.2. maybe the feature will be available when you upgrade to iOS4?

This feature just isn't available in the 3G without jailbreaking using RedSn0w.
