How do i upgrade a 3.1.3 unlocked iphone to 4.0 without losing the unlock/jailbreak?

hi my name is kevin and i have an iphone 3G jailbroken and unlocked and running on 3.1.3 and i am wondering if it is posssible that i can update or something to the 4.0 software...please help
