Hahahahahaa, you have no idea how much I just lol'd. We got in some serious shizz.

Our school probably has some technicality where it's illegal, because the laptop technically isn't "yours" until you pay off the contract. Not entirely sure though. They won't get police involved, if they do then I'll be shocked.

I know that hack is illegal to actually download. So you are fine on that part. As for it being illegal with you'r school I am pretty sure that it would it. The only way to tell for sure if that is illegal or not with to school is to check that the agreement you signed with the school. That will tell you for sure if it is or not. Now I can tell you from experience that a hack like that is illegal on most contracts. That is through experience you will have to check with the school to know for sure.

if you are using it to gain access to an account that you do not have the rights to access then yes it would be illegal, anything else gets sketchy... so i would say dont do it at all...

Since your paying for the laptop monthly it isn't technically yours, you're just loaning it. Since the program in question is a Windows application to crack passwords I would definitely think it would be against the rules to use, if not its highly likely you'd get caught while the network technician or administrator was monitoring what you're doing.

Yes he may paying for it. The only thing is that I paid for mine through high school and they still considered it school property till graduation day. That's why he needs to check the agreement. That is due to the fact that the school can take it if he violates the agreement.
