I like MS Office 2010 for Windows. It's smooth and very easy to use. Haven't tried 2011 for Mac though.

As for a new one in 2014, it's entirely possible and probably will happen.

I love Microsoft Office 2010. I think it's a significant improvement over even Office 2007. The new slide transitions in PowerPoint are absolutely fantastic, and Microsoft's keeping up with the current trend/buzzword by releasing a native 64-bit version. And, although this may seem silly, I love the "swoosh" splash screen it has now.

The one for the mac is a great improvement from all the others with the introduction of the ribbon (throughout the entire suite of applications) but (even though I still like it) 2010 wasn't as dramatic of an update as I would have liked it.
