There are some, but not a lot of users that do that. There are some reasons why Here is one example, the user JPizzle1122 (the microwave show). They have a second channel for their show because if Youtube does not like the content they are putting in the video (as they are videos for a show and not regular videos, they get higher standards and watched to see if something does not fit the director account/in the shows) they put it on the second channel where it is not part of a show or not on a director's account (which does not have the higher standards). Another reason is that something is deemed possible not fully allowed and to protect the main account, a second account is used. Another reason is that they have extras (blooper/commentary) that does not fit in their main channel, so they put it on another channel |

One reason is so they can place their bloopers on a different channel so it does not disorganize there main channel. Another example is that YouTube is about getting people to subscribe to you content and if you are someone who loves computers and technology and are making video for that on one channel, but you also love cars it is more beneficial to have a different/second channel to say organized and then your able to build up a bigger audience! -Brandon |

Some do it because the videos they make on one channel are directed toward a different clientele. The best example I can give you is HouseHoldHacker they have a channel completely dedicated to gaming and I don't like gaming all too much and I wouldn't like it cluttering my subscription feed. |

If you are subscribed to someone who makes funny videos and that's all you care about, do you really want to watch a daily vlog of what they ate for lunch? No. A second channel gives them another outlet and takes away some of the pressure to always produce Grade A videos on their original channel. |
